Stick Sports, the team that brought us Stick Cricket, has jumped head-first into building a flash-based football game.

Apart from reminding me of Caught Offside with their irreverant approach to everything they build, Stick Sports Football is fun to play and as good a way to waste your time after football as reading news that doesn’t matter and offering bullshit opinions.

Seriously, go play SSF. Yes, the ‘players’ are not 3D, they can’t move their legs, the game’s a bit fast and it’s not easy to master in the beginning (my first match? conceded 10 goals, 7 in the first half). Remember, this is a Flash-based game, not a PS2 game.

And as games go, this one is pretty good.
