"...but it's unlikely that we'll see a season run as close at that for quite some time."

Now the 3rd in 5 years i believe.

They're proving me better than right. In my actual preview I said that United would be pushing into the top six and Motherwell would be the dark horses. While they're higher up the league than I predicted, let's remember I predicted the final table...they're doing very well as I predicted.

Nice to see my Caley Thistle beating your predictions. Did you really see them as the second-worst team in the league to Gretna? Granted, our start was terrible, but Caley has been reliably out of the relegation argument since we came up four seasons ago. 10th I could understand, but a prediction of 11th was harsh, especially considering that St. Mirren only stayed up last season due to Pars being slightly more awful. Hopefully we'll surprise you again and finish 6th, definitely a goal in Caley's sights now.

#1 - The title race was 2002/03, I mistakenly wrote it as being the 2002 season, but I knew which one I was referring to. Call it a typo.
#2 - Indeed it did, but it wasn't won on goal difference. Both teams finished equal on points in 02/03, I said we're unlikely to see it run that close, and I doubt we will.
#3 - I did say PERHAPS unlucky. I wasn't saying they were or weren't, but that there's an argument to suggest they may have been. Especially if you talk to some Rangers fans.
#4 - 'strengthening' was used as a broad term to say that they signed some players. I said Celtic did this more effectively and by that I meant they didn't lose any of their assets and signed good players. I certainly didn't say that Rangers now have a better team than before.

Otherwise thanks for the comments!

Ooh it's all about opinions but I agree Judderman on the Rangers points. I, for one, am disappointed, but not surprised, that the SPL this season has not been more competitive this year. I was expecting so much more from Hibs too.

#1 - The title race you refer to was in 2003, not 2002.
#2 - The title went to literally the last kick of the ball in 2005
#3 - Rangers failed to qualify for the Champions League not through hard luck but through failing to score in their last 2 home games.
#4 - Rangers have sold their biggest asset in Hutton, and their best forward in Cousin, while bringing in a bench warming Dailly and Davis from Fulham. Hardly strengthening.
