i think our forward line if stay fit is good. yes i would like someone else but c'mon we dont know what happens behind the scenes.

fergie has sahas medical report and has watched him in trainin and he knows exactly how fit he is. i think if there were question marks over his fitness yes he would have made an emergency purchase.

i think the thing with dong is we need to see him play week in week out. i think he will be sent out on loan in january should we sign another striker in that window. giggs will play upfront and with saha, rooney and tevez there till january i think thats enough but yes we do need to stay injury and suspension free in that department

on the other end he has to keep the directors happy and after spending £60m the last thing you want to say to the glazers is " i need more cash" LOL

Yea but you can't really judge a player without properly seeing him play, he's fast and strong and good at heading, just like Saha, so that's why I com-pared him to Saha, he still may never be as good as Saha but it's unfair to just think we bought him just because he's Asian.

i agree with everything conor said, at least almost everything. i just don't think that dong will ever make the cut for manu (cambell MIGHT). he is already 23 so he only has a couple years to improve before he gets to old to improve and reaches his peak. but even then he will never be 1st, second or 3rd choice so he will probably pack his bags and go.
without saha we lack the depth in HIS department to have a quality forward step in and DO THE JOB just as well as he could and i don't think we have any1 at the moment who can do that.

Well is our formation not meant to be made for inter-changing? So Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez can all swap positions playing behind Saha, they can all get assists and can all score so, sounds good to me:D No but when you say "Should they be found lacking, then Anderson/ Ronaldo/ Giggs/ Scholes can step in", but what if Saha's injured, none of those players can do what he does, so if Campbell and Dong are found lacking then we have no alternative for Saha. I no very little about Campbell except he can score, and I think personally Dongs pretty similar to Saha, but I just think we need an alternative to Saha for now. But yeah your right, we do have the best strikeforce:D

Just a couple of questions for the United faithfull...

IF we pair Tevez and Saha, and the partnership becomes an instant success like we hope it will, then...
What do we do when Rooney gets back? Do we leave the partnership as is and let Rooney come off the bench? Or do we break up the partneship and go back to Rooney and Saha, or do we try Rooney and Tevez? It's a bit much hey... and now people want to add another 'big-name' to that problem?

As things stand at the moment, Dong and Cambell are our 4th/5th strikers. Should they be found lacking, then Anderson/Ronaldo/Giggs/Scholes can step in. That's good enough for me. Our strike force (of 3 proven strikers) are still better than any other team's strike-force out there. (Eg. Liverpool - Torres and Veronin are not proven yet, pretty sure Dong/Cambell can = Kuyt/Crouch)

[avijerseyno9]
I admire and respect your analysis of our team-play. It's just a bit sad that some of the United fans cannot appreciate that 'poetry in motion' (only words I can find at the moment to describe our team-play). Most cannot even see how the team has evolved...and it took a Chelsea fan to point it out?!?!? Thanks!

manutd Boss need to pair Teves and Saha that is Saha shoud play upfront while Teves support and Ronaldo and Giggs play the two extreme then Nani can a best repacement for Giggs because Giggs gets tire after thirty minutes. while Scholes and Hargreaves starts the midfield. for the defend I have no problem Brown, Evra, Vidic and Ferdinard.

Thanks

I agree SAF was unlucky. Having concluded his major business for the summer Rossi and Smith insist on leaving, Rooney gets injured, Saha's recovery is delayed, Tevez arrives so late that he doesn't have the time to get match fit, and Ronaldo one of our main sources of goals last season gets suspended.

But presumabely we weren't forced to balance the books by selling Heinze, Rossi and Smith. So there should be some money available for one more signing. And it is not even as if we need a world class first team player. We just need a fourth striker with a bit of experience to provide cover for times like now.

Personally I think gudjonsen would be ideal. He'll get more games here than he will at Barca, and he has experience in buckets. He is also a team player. Plus he is familiar with the English game.

vishnurajanb - you need to read things properly,no-one was 'questioning his abilities' and anyone who was would just be being stupid, and it is well known that SAF is pig-headed/stubborn, so you've just been proved wrong. He's a great manager, but everyone has their flaws and sometimes his stubbornness can end up being good or bad.
