Join celebrated football pundit, author, radio show host and DJ Andy Brassell every Monday on the Soccerlens Show.
This week’s episode focuses on the swine flu outbreak at Paris Saint-Germain, which led to a late postponement of the PSG-Marseille game that riled not only the supporters of both sides (and led to some unsavoury scenes between the two sets of fans) but also Marseille themselves, who were adamant that the match should have gone ahead. Andy gives us the inside track on the mistakes made by the LFP and PSG.
There’s also a Q&A segment which features a discussion on the future prospects of young Portuguese midfielders Joao Moutinho and Miguel Veloso, and a look at Rafael Benitez and why he should stick to the footballing side of management and leave player transfers to others.

Top signing by Soccerlens. Looking forward to more.
If they had to postpone it, it should have been postponed at least 24 hours before.
Unless the team was unable to play the game / field a relatively strong first XI, it should have been allowed to continue.
Having said that, it was a difficult situation – it would seem that they tried to let the game be played for as long as possible.
The reason Miguel Veloso hasn’t been sold is because I honestly don’t think he is that good.
Great addition! How do I forward a question to Andy….I have a few?
