Soccerlens Liverpool v Arsenal Match Viewing Party – a followup

Thank you all for coming out in the chilly weather to join the Soccerlens crew at the Soccerlens Match Viewing Party. The Liverpool v Arsenal game ended 1-2 with yet another away win in the Premier League this weekend.

Seems like this weekend was a good time to go play away from home in England as Birmingham City was the only team to get the three points at their home against West Ham United. Chelsea drew with Everton, Tottenham lost to Wolverhampton and Manchester United lost to Aston Villa.

Even though, Facebook told us that 161 people will be attending and another 146 might show up but neither did I believe that nor did it happen. Honestly, we did not have arrangements for over a hundred people. We had a good enough crowd, almost what we expected. The cold weather did not let the fans and friends get as heated up about the game as they should have. The Sheesha (Hookah) and food was good and so was the game.

We are looking forward to hosting more match viewing parties, just waiting for the next big game. If you want to be a part of it the next time, follow Soccerlens on Facebook or on @Soccerlens.
