Tottenham looks for a sponsor from the Middle-East

Written by gGw. Tagged: News - Tottenham

Tottenham’s current big-money sponsor deal with Mansion expires at the end of the 2009/2010 season and a renewal does not seem to be in the books. Since Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City have already agreed to new sponsors and Chelsea and Arsenal are planning to stick to their sponsors, it is highly unlikely that the Spurs will be able to find someone as rich as they want.

tottenhamReports say that the sponsorship deal will not just be a sponsorship deal. Spurs want their sponsor to pay for the new stadium as well and in return, they will name the stadium after the sponsor. The new stadium should accommodate 58,000 fans; White Hart Lane has a capacity of 36,000 only. Tottenham hopes to complete their new stadium by 2012/2013.

Paul Barber, the executive director of Tottenham, has reportedly said that they are in talks with four big companies from Dubai and other companies in Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Bahrain.

I can tell you now that there aren’t any companies in Bahrain who’d want to put their names to that pile of shit.

  2. Stupid comments from a guy with a stupid name, although apparently an expert on Bahrain business….which begs the question why you are on here making unintelligent one liners when you could clearly be making millions with your business acumen. Prat.

  3. Harry Barracuda……a well thought through, constructive response from you. Thank you for your comment on what is really just an FYI article…..I am sure your point will stop them from wasting their time in Bahrain. Have you nothing better to do????
