Tagged: News - Valencia

valencia_herbalifeHerbalife International, a global nutrition, weight-loss and skin-care company, announced that it has completed a sponsorship deal with one of the leading La Liga football clubs, Valencia. Not only that, Herbalife will be the official provider of nutritional products to the club.

As a result of the deal, the Herbalife logo will be added to all of Valencia training and match kit shorts. Also Herbalife will be showcased through a variety of different media at Valencia’s home stadium, the Estadio Mestalla.

This deal is the fourth major football sponsorship after LA Galaxy in the USA, Inter Milan in Italy and FC Strasbourg in France. These relationships are a part of the extensive sponsorship portfolio which includes athletes, teams and events.

Valencia 09/10 Kits & a Shocker!

Commemorating the 90th birthday of the club, Valencia and Kappa have gone out of their way to make a shirt that would pay a tribute to the men who have defended Valencia over the years. A special shirt which a huge bat on the chest with the club crest in the middle of the shirt.

Valencia will only wear this shirt against the pre-season friendlies against Arsenal and Manchester United and in all their major La Liga games.

09-10 Home Shirt for Valencia Leaked

Valencia or Kappa hasn’t annonced a date for revealing their next season’s kits, at least in my knowledge.

Kappa manufactured this new kit for Valencia and I’m not sure if they will be wearing the same kit we have here since this is just a leaked image we got our hands on from Football Shirts.

The shirt is white with black sleeves, orange collar and orange piping around the edges of the sleeves and the bottom of the shirt. Valencia crest on the left, the Kappa logo on the right and on the sides of both sleeves and the sponsor logo in the middle of the shirt.

Valencia 2007-08 Away Kit

Tagged: Valencia

As we all know, all games are not played on the home pitch. So when Valencia travels to play opposing sides, they will wear a Nike kit that is the same orange as in the unique Valencia badge.

What I like about this kit is the small markings of blue on the collar and the sleeves. This is a nice contrast in the color of the kit, and since there is no white on it aside from the Nike logo, it adds that much more. One thing that I am not too fond of is the mock collar. It looks alright, but as a player it would annoy me. Then again if I were playing for Valencia I’d be getting paid to play, so I think I’d let it slide. But as a Football Kit blogger, I do not like it. To each their own, the kit is simple and I like that. 3 out of 5 stars for Valencia’s 2007-08 La Liga Away Kit.

Valencia 2007-08 Home Kit

Nike has always made nice kits in their short life in the world of football, and Valencia called upon them to create a kit for their 2007-08 La Liga campaign. How did they do? Well I have always liked Nike kits, and I think they did a wonderful job with this one as well.

Going in the opposite direction of most home kits, Nike and Valencia went with a solid white kit with the orange as a highlight color. Something that really stands out is the orange markings down the sides and on the collar. They are uniquely placed yet seem to flow nicely. I really think that the powers that be did a great job on this kit. It’s simple and matches the color scheme of the club perfectly, what can I say, that’s what I look for. This kit gets a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
