The Euro Cup champions Spain has one of the most threatening squad. Players like Andres Iniesta, Carles Puyol, Cesc Fabregas, David Villa, Fernando Torres, Sergio Ramos and Xavi are there alongside some youngsters oozing with talent.

The Spaniards use Nike manufactured sports goods and so is the case with their 2009/2010 kits.

Spain’s Confederations Cup 2009 kit

Spain and Adidas recently launched their kit for the 2009 Confederations Cup. The presentation started with a video (at the end). The slogan was “Hunters impossible”.

After the video, Reina, Xavi, Riera, Marchena, Silva, David Villa, Arbeloa, Fernando Llorente, Cazorla, Xabi Alonso and Senna came on the stage wearing the new kit and black paint marks on their faces.

Just like the previous Spain kits, this one seems to be living up to the mark!

Fabregas’s shirts

The number 10 for Spain and number 4 for Arsenal, Fabregas is undoubtedly an outstanding midfielder. No matter how much you hate Arsenal, you have to admit that. He’s considered the playmaker in the North London club and the person to introduce selfless play in Arsenal.

Sergio Ramos away shirts

The 22 years old, long-haired defender Sergio Ramos wears the number 4 for Real Madrid and the number 15 for Spain. He’s considered an assett in both the teams and I’m sure without him FC Barcelona’s Carlos Puyol will have to run all over the place to save Spain’s number 1 position at the FIFA World Rankings.

Spain 2008-09 Away Kit

Tagged: Spain

Spain has long since been one of the best teams in the world. Adidas has done their part in giving them great looking kits for a number of years, and with the unveiling of the new Away kit that trend will continue. Great looking kit for an explosive team.

Playing on the gold inside of the Spanish crest, Adidas went with a solid gold top with black stripes on the sleeves. By adding the Spanish Crest on the left chest, which by the way is a perfect size crest, there is balance around the jersey. One nice touch is the lighter gold on the inside of the sleeves, complimented by the black piping going down the front. This is one of the nicest kits I have seen in a while. Definitely ranks up there with the best. I do not like giving perfect scores, but this one is close. I’m going to give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

Spain 2007-09 Home Kit

Tagged: Spain

Spain recently released the home kit they will wear for the Euro 2008 tournament and home matches until 2009. Fans, no need to worry about the away kit, it is set to be updated and unveiled next year. So check back here for the latest Spain away kit in the near future.

On to the home kit, it is the traditional maroon that has become a standard for Spain and their home kits. What I really like about this kit is the simplicity and retro look the kit has. Manufacturer Adidas really stepped up and made a great looking kit by keeping it simple and only utilizing the Spanish Crest and the yellow stripes and piping down the sides. All in all a spectacular kit that deserves 4 out of 5 stars from me.
