As you probably have already seen the Nike manufactured home and away Manchester United kits (Man Utd Home & Man Utd Away). Here we bring to you the home and away goalie 2009/2010 kits. Frankly, the goalkeeper home shirt is my favorite out of all the kits for the upcoming season.

The Nike manufactured Manchester United 2009/2010 away kit has been officially unveiled. Our affiliate Kitbag brought the images to Soccerlens and we are bringing them for our visitors. The shirt is exactly the same as the leaked shirt despite the protest against the Manchester City colored stripe in the front.

Michael Owen wearing the 09/10 United shirtManchester United have announced that the newest signing, Michael Owen, will wear the number 7 shirt for his time at the club. At United, this number has been worn by some of the reds’ most favorite players like George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona, David Beckham and most recently by Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo. We all know that Owen is famous for his tendency to get injured but he has played some 62 matches in the last two years at Newcastle United. 
With the new number at United, comes the new and much bigger responsibility… That is, score goals regularly and create chances for others around you. His stats don’t really match up to those standards; in the 62 matches he played, he could only score 23 times, which in my point of view is below average. Maybe, with better players and a better coach around he can learn to score more often. Only time will tell.

Manchester United’s new 09/10 home shirt seems to be plain red with a black stripe on the front and black collar, white shorts and a red stripe going down the sides. It’s the last season AIG will be sponsoring Manchester United, but that’s a different story.
From the leaked images we had before, it seemed like Nike was trying to milk the historical aspect as much as they could, while keeping the kit’s design to be both historically relevant and fashionable, as it was evident by the attempt to design a schoolgirl uniform with the white V and full collar.

So, it has been a total of 22 years he has spent at Old Trafford and 18 years playing for the senior team.
