Official 2010 World Cup footballs

Pre-order the Official 2010 World Cup football now!

On 4th December 2009, FIFA and Adidas will reveal the footballs to be used in the 2010 World Cup. Yes, it is the same day as the World Cup fixtures and results are announced. An African theme/style is expected on the ball but so far all we know about the ball is that it is available in three colors: white, black & yellow.

The ball i s available to pre-order from our affiliate Kitbag and it will be dispatched from 5th December.

Having a huge sports goods manufacturing industry in your neighboring city, you ultimately get to see how they make all the sports goods. Living in Pakistan, I’ve seen a lot of footballs being hand-made. Now surely, hand-made footballs can not meet up to the requirements and demands of the modern footballing world. We need a plant that would make hundreds of footballs in a day!

1970-2006 Adidas World Cup Footballs

To celebrate the World Cup 2010, Adidas has launched a special package which will contain ten footballs, each from a World Cup from 1970 to 2006. Each football is made just as the original was made. The exact same material and the same manufacturing technique makes the ball identical to the original for that given year. Each ball comes with its own ring stand commemorating the year it was used. There will be another ring for your 2010 World Cup ball as well.

Nike T90 Ascente – 09/10 Match ball for BPL, La Liga & Serie A

The new footballs which will be used in the 2009/2010 season in BPL, La Liga and Serie A are the Nike T90 Ascente. These balls are specially designed, engineered and tested for strikers to have a better flight through the air and a deadlier finish.

Champions League Final: Barcelona & Manchester United Shirts

After ‘the champions vs the ordinary’ game between Manchester United and Arsenal and the “controversial” Chelsea, Barcelona draw at Stamford Bridge, the final will be played between the best team in England and the best team in Spain on 27th May, 2009 at Stadio Olimpico, Rome (home of Lazio and Roma).

It will be a chance for Pep’s boys to take revenge from United for the last year’s Champions League semi-final even though they will be without Daniel Alves and Eric Abidal plus Rafael Marquez’s presence is not certain. Whereas Wes Brown and Darren Fletcher will be missing the final for Manchester United.

UEFA Champions League 2009 Finale Football

27th May, 2009 is the day when the 54th UEFA Champions League 2009 finale will be played (17th under the current format). The final will be played in the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy (capacity = 72,000+); home of AS Roma and SS Lazio. Now, we can’t really sell the stadium to you because we just can’t so here’s the closest thing to that, well kind of… The 2009 Champions League finale football!
