Rhys Jones Everton Kit

Everton launched a kit to show their support for a charity inspired by the murder of the schoolboy Rhys Jones. The shirt became the fastest selling pre-ordered shirt for the club.

Everton hope to raise £100,000 for the Liverpool Unites children’s charity following Rhys’s death in August 2007. The club’s retro home shirt (Everton 09/10 Home Shirt)already broke records but this shirt is three times more popular. It is due to be unveiled on 29th October, 2009 and available from the 30th.

The charity is supported by Stephen and Melanie Jones, the parents of the 11 year old boy after being shot in the Croxteth Park estate area two years ago. Liverpool Unites fundraiser, Tom Woolley said:

Everton Charity Shirt Leak

It has become a tradition at Everton to launch a special shirt to raise charity. It all started with a pink Everton shirt in 2007 and then another pink Everton shirt in 2008 but in 2009, they have turned to purple for the charity shirt. Since Everton has changed kit manufacturers from Umbro to Le Coq Sportif and the shirt has remained gay, there is probably something homo in Everton (no offense meant to the fans). The 09/10 Everton Home Shirt and the 09/10 Everton Away Shirt have already been posted on Soccerlens.

Here’s the leaked image of the charity shirt:

Everton unveils their 09/10 away kit

Everton and Le Coq Sportif have already revealed the 2009/2010 Everton home shirt and recently they also unveiled their away kit. Black and pink will be the away colors for Everton; not that cool in my opinion. Soccerlens’ affiliates still have to get a hold on these shirts but as soon as they do, we will bring them for you. For now, you can make do with these images and if you really want to buy them, get them off Everton’s official web-store.

Everton 09-10 Home Shirt

everton_8385-homeEverton has launched their 2009/2010 season home shirt and it will be launched on 27th June, 2009.

Everton has shifted to Le Coq Sportif from Umbro from the upcoming season and they’re paying their tribute to the 1983-85 seasons when Everton won the FA Cup, the English First Division and European Cup Winners Cup.

Their 1983-85 shirt is pictured on the right. Their 2009-10 shirt looks pretty much the same like their 83-85 shirt and the only difference would be the end of the sleeves, the sponsor logo and the new club crest.

The plain blue shirt with a white collar and a hint of white on the sides of the shirt is manufactured by Umbro for Everton. The shirt has the Umbro logo on the right chest, club crest on the left chest and the sponsor logo in the middle of the shirt.

The short is white with blue outline on the end of the shorts, the club crest on the right leg and the manufacturer logo on the left leg. The socks are also white with blue top, another blue blue and white strip under it and between the top and the stripe, there’s an Umbro logo.

Everton 08/09 Away Shirt

I have to say, Everton’s 08/09 away kit is a smart kit and a lot better than Everton’s 08/09 home kit.

Everton 2007-08 Third Kit

Tagged: Everton

After having two nearly perfect kits for Home and Away matches, one could ask the question of why Everton would even bother with a Third Kit. To test the limits of color schemes, that’s why. With the addition of this spectacular looking Third Jersey, Everton has once again created a dynasty among kits for this season. Taking their classic color of Royal blue and using it as a highlight with white in certain areas of an all Navy top makes this one of the nicest color combinations I have ever seen.

One nice touch on this kit is the Everton Crest. It is shown with the Blue background and really makes the light touches of the blue throughout the top really jump out. This kit is one of the nicest I have seen thus far, and Everton and Umbro completed the hat trick with their third nice kit of the campaign.

Everton 2007-08 Away Kit

Tagged: Everton

Utilizing the same kit as Everton wears at home, the away kit is positioned on a solid field of white. There are a couple black markings around the collar and one black Umbro logo, the other Umbro logo is a faded grey and is a nice touch. The Everton Crest is positioned on the left chest as always and has no color added to it, making the top a black and white affair for away matches.

Not being related to the kit itself, however the sponsor logo is in green which does not go with the kit at all and really offsets an otherwise flawless kit. With that aside this kit is just as nice as the home kit if not better. Everton and Umbro once again created something worth seeing.

Everton 2007-08 Home Kit

Umbro has always made great kits, and with the recent kits that National Teams and Clubs alike have worn it seems as that tradition is going to continue. Well Everton wears Umbro kits, and this season they will be wearing one of the nicest looking kits in the Premiership. A solid blue top with few white markings and a couple of Umbro logos on the right chest and right sleeve is all that this kit requires. Add the classic Everton Crest and the sponsor in the center in an all white logo and you have a spectacular home kit.

Everton has long been known as one of the Premier Clubs in the world, and respectively have always had simple, yet timeless kits. Umbro and Everton were right on the money with this home kit.
