Sevilla 09/10 Champions League Shirts

Alongside VfB Stuttgart, Rangers and FC Unirea Urziceni; Sevilla will go head to head in Group G of the Champions League to find a place in the quarterfinals. They will kick-off their journey towards the biggest European tournament against the debutant Romanian side Urziceni at home. To celebrate their return and a comparatively easy start of their Champions League (last year they started off with a 3-0 loss against Arsenal), they have launched special kits. Joma manufactures all of their sports goods.

Real Madrid 09/10 Champions League Away Shirt

The La Liga giants Real Madrid has now completed the revelation of their 2009/2010 kits with their Champions League away shirt. The differences between the Real Madrid 09/10 Away Shirt and the Champions League Away Shirt are that the blue Adidas pin-stripes on the shoulders are gold, the collar in removed and the special Santiago Bernabeu logo is in white with a tiny little flag of Spain on top of it. Barcelona Winners Range

In the 2009/2010 season, one of the bigger clubs from Spain, Barcelona, won three trophies: The Copa Del Rey, La Liga and the Champions League. Not only that, Barcelona had a massive goal difference of 70 in the league and their front three players (Samuel Eto’o, Lionel Messi and Theirry Henry) scored over a 100 goals together in all competitions. Also, Barça beat Real Madrid 6-2 at Bernebue; breaking the previous worst defeat at home for Madrid.

Before the Champions League final, there was a talk about Manchester United and Barça, both being the deserving winners of the final. But, after watching Barcelona completely out-playing United, it was pretty clear who the deserving champions of Europe.

Champions League Final: Barcelona & Manchester United Shirts

After ‘the champions vs the ordinary’ game between Manchester United and Arsenal and the “controversial” Chelsea, Barcelona draw at Stamford Bridge, the final will be played between the best team in England and the best team in Spain on 27th May, 2009 at Stadio Olimpico, Rome (home of Lazio and Roma).

It will be a chance for Pep’s boys to take revenge from United for the last year’s Champions League semi-final even though they will be without Daniel Alves and Eric Abidal plus Rafael Marquez’s presence is not certain. Whereas Wes Brown and Darren Fletcher will be missing the final for Manchester United.

UEFA Champions League 2009 Finale Football

27th May, 2009 is the day when the 54th UEFA Champions League 2009 finale will be played (17th under the current format). The final will be played in the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy (capacity = 72,000+); home of AS Roma and SS Lazio. Now, we can’t really sell the stadium to you because we just can’t so here’s the closest thing to that, well kind of… The 2009 Champions League finale football!

Champions League Second Stage Kicks Off – 08-09 Champions League kits

The European Champions League 2nd Stage is kicking off from 24th February, 2009. The biggest clubs in Europe are going to be blazing all their guns at each other to become the Champions of Europe.
