Senegal 2007-09 Away Kit

Written by Brad Barnett. Tagged: Senegal

It has been well documented throughout this blog at my apprecaition of the new kits by Puma. So when I saw that Senegal would continue their partnership with Puma as their kit manufacturer, I was anxious to see what they could come up with.

On a solid field of green, Puma incorporated the yellow and red that accompany the green in the national colors throughout the kit. Though not bright and over done, there are marks of yellow on the piping on the bottom of the sleeves and the Puma logos. Add a little red under the sleeves and there you have, the 2007-09 Senegal Away Kit. I really like the collar on these and I wish that Puma would have put the national colors on the front of the collar like they have with other countries. With the colors on the front of the collar this kit would have easily been a perfect 5 of 5 stars. But without it, it’s only 4 out of 5.

  1. hey i am senegalese and i wanted to say what i think about this away kit.I think it replied me Cameroun’s colour in 2002 or something like that it doesn’t really look like senegalese i prefer the white one with the baobab frame and green even though it wasn’t so ideal. It also should have more red and yellow because they are also very significant colours of our flag.
