Liverpool 08/09 Third Shirt

Written by Ahmed Bilal. Tagged: 2008/2009 Kits - Adidas - Liverpool

Liverpool’s 08/09 third kit is … green – if you thought the gray away kit was going to surprise you then at least you’ve seen the worst Adidas can’t do with a Liverpool shirt.

Still, it’s not a ‘bad’ kit – we’ll just have to see how the players look wearing it – somehow I don’t think it’ll end up being a collector’s item, and I wish Adidas experimented more with design than with colours.

  1. Goodness, I should responded to this one before the grey one.

Are adidas trying to make their spell a short one?

Last years black 3rd kit (Euro away) was the best away kit I’ve seen. The grey and this green away kits however are the worst and I certainly won’t be buying it. Which will be the first time or 20 seasons!

  3. oh dear

  4. i dont know if these pics of the new kit we are seeing are real. The players, manager etc. have to agree that they like the shirts and before they are accepted, but you never know, the players and that might like them

  5. dont talk to much it might be da best kit in europe

  6. This is joke looks blue, we will just get laughed at wearing this!

  7. I like it.

  8. ok not so bad … but still can be better
    C’MON Liverpool !

  9. rather buy underwear than dis..

  10. these away shirts are brill, classic retro colour, who can forget the last grey shirt, when our sponsers were candy, and who can forget when stevie mac wore the green n white quatered away shirt. i love them

  11. Poor liverpool fans…thank god i’m a chelsea boy

  12. this is such a unique kit it’s amazing. Not too much for the away shirt though

  13. poor liverpool fans

at least man u get decent kits by a decent kit maker!

altough i like the away gray one

  14. that’s nice

  15. lfc rule

  16. Smart tha’ :)

    Well gettin’ it mi :D

  17. You Scousers are to be admired. Only true blind support could respond positively to an Aqua/teal kit, or the grey one for that matter. Adidas is absolutely killing yall this year, wtf? If the color was a real green, with, say white shorts, that would look nice for the pool. Anyway the Chels had to endure shocking electric stewards uniforms last year, and this year we’ve been rewarded for time served with three great kits. The Liverpool 09/10 kits will be sharp, if the pattern holds.

  18. agreed mack. no other words to describe it. If i were rich enough, i would buy the aqua shirt, wipe my arse on it and send it back to addidas. POOR form addidas, we deserve better than this puselaminous effort

Always in love with red, this is disappointing!!

  20. if only Addidas add the same kind of touch they give to Italian kits with Liverpool”s. This one takes the worst horrible third kit by a mile.

  21. Liverpool’s away kits have been a trademark green every milestone since the 80s. One of their best away kits by Adidas in the 90s was green white and black. Then reebok followed the tradition in 2001 with the all green kit with white and black diagonal stripe down the chest. This is nothing different to what we have been seeing for a long time now. It is a trademark liverpool away kit. Alot better than any grey or white away kit they’ve had in recent years anyway.

  22. I like the Grey kit alot, this one i don’t like very much but, its a third though so i don’t really mind anyway

  23. i like this shirt got it 4 my boyfriend
