Everton 09-10 Home Shirt

everton_8385-homeEverton has launched their 2009/2010 season home shirt and it will be launched on 27th June, 2009.

Everton has shifted to Le Coq Sportif from Umbro from the upcoming season and they’re paying their tribute to the 1983-85 seasons when Everton won the FA Cup, the English First Division and European Cup Winners Cup.

Their 1983-85 shirt is pictured on the right. Their 2009-10 shirt looks pretty much the same like their 83-85 shirt and the only difference would be the end of the sleeves, the sponsor logo and the new club crest.

  1. I think these kits are sickening. My son, Nisanthan Joharajah, plays for Everton and will love playing in these.

AWFUL, THE PICTURE OF THE HOME SHIRT LOOKS LIKE A MATERNITY FROCK. THE DESIGNE OF THE SHIRT IS OK BUT THE WHITE V AT THE FRONT IS FAR TO LONG. WOULD BE INTERESTING TO SEE THE SHORTS AND SOCKS WEATHER THEY WOULD BE SIMILAR TO THE ONES IN THE 80s THAT WERE HOOPED.
THE AWAY SHIRT IS SICK, OK SALMON PINK WAS ONE OF OUR ORIGINAL COLOURS, BUT THAT SHIRT LOOKS MORE AT HOME IN A SWEET SHOP, NOT GRACING A FOOTBALL PITCH. SORT IT OUT

  3. I think both of these are absolutely awful. Umbro may have had issues with delivery but at least the current home kit is very smart. These new shirts would be more appropriate adorning men with fake red noses and large shoes in a circus tent instead of professional footballers.

  4. the first comment “Nisanthan Joharajah” is not a everton player

  5. April 7, 2009Steve George

    LOVE EM BOTH QUALITY SHIRTS

  6. im an everton fan and even i wouldnt wear that crap il stick 2 this seasons if they are the real kits

  7. i wish football kit makers would stop going back to old fashioned shirts and make modern ones lyk the england shirt look what they did to that its horrible im english as well

  8. April 20, 2009Phil Dower

The finished articals are something worth seeing. I for one am very happy that we are embarking on a shirt deal with le coq as it takes me back to a time when we built arguably the best Everton side to grace a football pitch. The finished home top is outstanding. I would love us to sign another Sharpe or Grey to do them justice.
    Come on you blues…
We’re on the march with moyse’s army, we’re all going to wembley…. again!
FA cup success would be a very nice way to start a trophey landslide.

  9. I thought that kit was awful first time round. The new one looks even worse, if that were possible. The white detail on the front just looks ridiculous.

  10. nisanthan joharajah does play for everton!!!!!
so hey mike nolan **** off!!!!!!!!!

  11. April 22, 2009Callum Davies

    This kit is class!!!!

  12. this is a crap kit for this season :@ owell better luk nixt time innit :@ if u supoort a proper team u wuld get a decent top:)

  13. I THINK THIS SHIRT IS A GOOD ONE!! ALL OF YOU ARE MOANING ABOUT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE I THINK IT MAKES US DIFFERENT TO ANY OTHER TEAM IN THE PREMIERSHIP SOME OF YOU WONT MORE MODERN SHIRTS WE DONT WANT TO BE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE LETS CHANGE THAT INIT LADS WE HAVE A LOT OF HISTORY AND WE SHOULD BE PROWD TO SHOW THAT ON THE PITCH ASWELL AS THE FANS AND THE PLAYERS LETS RESPECT EVERTON HERE BOYS. DAVIE MOYES , DAVIE MOYES DAVIE DAVIE MOYES , HES GOT RED HAIR BUT WE DONT CARE , DAVIE DAVIE MOYES

  14. Looks boss

  15. Retro shirts are a good idea visiting a clubs history however this 1 looks like something an alien pulled out of its as*

  16. i love umbro shirts not sure about this type but how come we moved from umbro to theses type of shirts?

  17. Im pretty sure the guys and girls at le coq have probably designed some other more up to date shirts but it wont be them who get the final say it’l be the big bosses.

  18. Looks Boss???, where do you come from kidda?, whats your problem?…. bring it on ill throw a grease ball at you boss look i dont know where your from, but if you carry on with this attitude ill set Matt Gadd on you son! c’mon Howard pull your socks up kidda or meet the rath of Matt Gadd!

  19. what ya gotta remember is Everton wont bring out a kit dat makes us look stupid – at the end of he day its a matter of opinion, but whether we like it or not at first, itl grow on most Evertonian’s. It’s been the same for me the past few seasons – don’t like the shirt but then buy it (coz its me team) an then grow to love it. I think its a great idea though on bringin back the shirt that held so much belief for Evertonian’s. COYB!

  20. Alex Gadd how can you say these kits are nice you stupid fat man. and how can you throw a grease ball fool. these kits are disgusting and i hope they never come out. Alex Gadd hang your head in shame, punk ass White Boi

  21. May 1, 2009Kisani Joharajah

  31. it is good

  32. make that triangle at the top a bit smaller and that kit will be propper smart.

  33. May 25, 2009Everton blue

since when does a shirt matter about playing football. i think they are ok yes could be better but the pride of merseyside shouldnt care how we look its how we play. and we will get noticed mabye for the wrong reasons but still. everton fa cup winners 09.

  34. May 27, 2009Ryan Harding

I am a big evertonian nd absolutly loe the kit i think it is personal to Everton. Unlike last season wher us, West Ham and West Brom had the same kit with different colours.

  35. please somebody tell me this is a wind up , its the worst looking kit ever i thought the same back in the 80s ,ill be shocked if they sell well

  36. June 2, 2009john efc

total crap i wouldn`t be seen dead in that fucking thing umbros shirts are miles better Le Coq Sportif shite

  37. June 5, 2009sensible john

In response to john efc. Love it or hate it the choice is yours. But if you have a comment to make, ensure you have an IQ into double figures before you seek to have it published. Constructive comment is of interest, crass remarks like yours fuel the opinion that football fans are second class citizens – you however fall a long way short of even second class!

  38. June 6, 2009Ajay D'Almeida

Thats one ugly kit! The V makes it look awful. Strange coz the V on the older kit look great.

  39. June 7, 2009Graham Tomson

There ain’t many kits I find awful… but this kit is just naff to the max!
It looks like the scrub uniforms in a hospital. Awful design.

  40. This kit is boss and whoever doesn’t like them is just going along the flow of there mates or family just to try and fit in. Get a mind of your own. What?, as soon as they like it when it grows on them are you going to suddenly realise that you like it. JOKES

  41. June 20, 2009NiquT (c) Romania

I don’t why, a team like Everton want to change sponsor from Umbro to Le Coq Sportif who is a small brand. . . I think that kit is nice but a Umbro kit whit 09-10 model was a batter choise. .

  42. wow! kool shirt!
