The Chelsea shirt for 09/10 season is manufactured by Adidas of course. This shirt is said to be based on the ‘cycling top’ but looks more like a shirt that has been made from a bra to me. Anyways, that’s not the point here. This shirt doesn’t carry a zipper like a lot of people had thought it did. It seems like it does but it does not… Deceitful, eh?

The man boobs chest is divided into two portions, right and left. Adidas logo on the right, the Chelsea emblem on the left, sponsor logo in the middle of the shirt and the typical Adidas pin-strips going down each shoulder.

Away
The away shirt is white with black horizontal stripes all over the shirt, black collar and the zipper-like-thing, three black pin-strips over the shoulders, Adidas logo on the right chest, Chelsea emblem on the left and the sponsor logo in the middle of the shirt. The shirt looks like the away shirt Chelsea wore back in the 1984-85 season.

Third
Again, the away and third shirt are a confusion still. The third shirt consists of black and blue strips, black collar, yellow Adidas logo on the right chest, yellow Chelsea emblem on the left, yellow sponsor logo in the middle of the shirt and yellow pin-stripes down the shoulder. The format is the same as the home and away shirt, same bra-like-design applied.

A most hideous garment. Worst Chelsea shirt I have ever seen. I hope this photo is fake, or that the product shown is simply one of several alternatives still to be decided upon.

I though this was terrible at first but then i saw the 09-10 russia jerseys and was impressed. Other than the third kit these jerseys will look 10 times better up close.

yeah it is a pretty vile kit tbh, looks more like a rugby shirt that a football one? brought every chelsea kit for the last 8 years and this is worst one in a long time!
i dont really mind the home kit just lose the zip and circles around the shoulders. i really like the away kit but theres so much bad stuff to say about the 3rd kit i would be going on forver about it here are my ratings.

What is everyone talking about? I love them. The away shirt is here nor there, but I think the other 2 are great. I’ll be there buying all of them. The third strip is better than the sickly yellow rubbish we had last year.

when i bought my sons kit for this season the bloke in the shop this was chelsea 09/10 kit
ur all so annoying. i bet u all call football soccer. i would buy the shirt if it wa spink with green sports, and u know why? coz im a chelsea fan and i dont give a shit what the kit looks like. besides i think all of em are great. im so glad to see that we havent felt the need to go retro like every other team. i think you will all change your opinion when u see it up close. btw did anyone actually like this seasons at first? i didnt but i got it anyway and then it grew on me. the kit will look nice upfront!!!

I think that the home kit is not bad but all the most recent shirts (last 5 years or so) are alot better the away 1 supposedly(white 1) looks pretty good i like it as for the other shirt that ones pretty f**ked but every1 has there own opinion
I’ve purchased my share of Chelsea kits as well, and they’ve all been exceptional, but this one just looks fucking gay. And if Russia’s already accepted, then it might actually be real. Looks like it’s time to switch to a real brand like Nike or, hell, even going back to Umbro suits me just fine.

i think that the home kit looks alright up close if you were wearing the whole kit same as the white kit if you had black and white stripey socks and white shorts and the 3rd kit looks ace all together think of it as the inter milan kit with insted of a gold sponsor an illuminus one if the 3rd kit is that top black and blue shortd and stripey black and blue socks it would look pretty cool altogether so it would and if these are the kits and are what i guessed im buying the away 1 or the 3rd having the home kit is sad getting the same type of jersey every year instead i am getting the 3rd if it is what i expected!

People will always moan. I think it’s ok, nice and minimal. I love Nike shoes but adidas are way better at making kits.

Russia is ugly, looks more like a china uniform, but chelsea is pretty close. Who would have thought sweden was lookin like the best n ew kits. I know people are hurting for money but holy fuck at least make it look like your trying to make nice kits.

Will it be a compression like shirt? Because it looks that way. I hope not. Surely when they design these shirts they think about the fans who will be wearing it too and not just the players

To be honest, i hate it when teams change kits every year, they should at least make kits last 2 seasons. Oh yeah, the home and 3rd kits are hideous but the away kit does look to be worth buying

I think these shirts are sick!! in the best possible way, they’re different, obviously made to recieve the best perofrmance out of the players i.e aero dynamic, sweat proof nd other stuff lyk that, plus lyk chris sed its not retro lyk nike and the rest. its quality and it’ll look good when its released. BLUE IS THE COLOUR!!

that kit is mank still dont affect me coz im a west ham boy duno why they made it so tight around the chest coz it will be hard for lampard to get into it what with his massive man tits only joking lamps in my opinion hes the 2nd best player in the world close behind messi. that kit is awful thou i would have thought with all your money you could get a half descent kit. Just to let you all know the blue kit looks pretty nasty there but when you see it in real it looks much better
the adidas template isnt very nice but both the design of the away and third are amazing! as a newcastle fan i can safely say that i would be more than happy for that chelsea third top to be our away one!

chelsea has a tradition of a darker blue which is what i was hoping 4 this season but i stil quite like the new home kit. i also think that it looks better as a whole kit rather than just the shirt, it is quite plain but i think its better… to much can spoil the shirt. also ive seen some other away shirts similar to these ones leaked out recently and they wer crap i hope that these are the proper ones!!
