The official website of West Ham United has displayed a teaser of their 09/10 home shirt. The shirt seems to be maroon with a collar and that’s all I can say about the shirt. Umbro manufactures the kits for the Hammers.

Sunderland has revealed their 2009/2010 kits and the Black Cats‘ home kit is available for sale at Kitbag. The red and white striped shirt has a red collar with a white line going through it. The Umbro logo on the right of the chest, the crest on the left and the sponsor logo in the middle of the shirt.

On 4th June, 2009 Umbro and Manchester City announce a ten-year brand partnership. The new City kits will go on sale on 18th July, 2009. City broke off their deal with Le Coq Sportif and revealed their new 2009/2010 kits with Umbro with the announcement.

This is not the first time Umbro will be manufacturing kits for City. Some 75 years ago, Umbro supplied kits for City when City won the 1934 FA Cup final. Today, the company and the club are trying to revive those memories and pay tribute to the 1934 win by wearing the old kits with the modern touch. From the images Umbro has revealed, it seems like they’ve come up with one of the better retro football shirts coming out this season… After all, Umbro is a subsidiary of Nike.

The Northern Ireland fans are going to hate me for saying this but this shirt is pretty similar to the Ireland 08/10 Home Shirt. The only difference seems to be is the color of the curvy stripe going down the sides, the sponsor logo and the emblem on the left of the chest. Other than that, it looks pretty much the same shirt. Same manufacturer, Umbro, same shade of green and the same texture.

I’m not really updated on the political situation in and around Ireland but the shirts are either copied or insisted to be the same color because it is theirs. Not my headache… The Northern Ireland 08/10 home shirt with long sleeves after the jump!

The Blackburn Rovers and Umbro have launched the 2009/2010 away kit recently. For the first time in the history of the club, the Rovers will wear the white away shirt with the hint of red and the awkward-looking-blue. They will have a pair of striking red shorts and socks to go with the white shirt.

Manufacturer logo on the right of the chest, club crest on the left and the sponsor logo in the middle of the shirt as usual.

The club crest on the left of the chest and the Umbro logo on the right. The sponsor logo is in the middle of the shirt splitting the sky blue stripe.

The plain blue shirt with a white collar and a hint of white on the sides of the shirt is manufactured by Umbro for Everton. The shirt has the Umbro logo on the right chest, club crest on the left chest and the sponsor logo in the middle of the shirt.

The short is white with blue outline on the end of the shorts, the club crest on the right leg and the manufacturer logo on the left leg. The socks are also white with blue top, another blue blue and white strip under it and between the top and the stripe, there’s an Umbro logo.

Finally, after so many leaks Arsenal has revealed a shirt that will be their 2009/2010 away kit. I heard someone say that these new kits are like buses. So, it is a blue golf t-shirt with a collar and light blue lining all over the shirt. The club crest on the left of the chest, the Nike logo on the right, the sponsor logo in the middle and the Premier League logo on each sleeve.

Sweden 09-10 home kit

Sweden wore this kit against Portugal yesterday in the nil-nil draw. Umbro manufactured this kit for the Swede national team. This shirt is available in shops in all kinds of shapes and sizes… women’s, kid’s, long sleeves, shorts sleeves, with or without name/number, etc.

Umbro went all-out for the promotion of the new England shirt, releasing a spate of videos and interviews related to the manufacturing of the kit before the official launch. Umbro concentrated on making a really traditional home kit for 2009-11, and the response to the shirt so far has been mixed.
