2009 Internazionale Serie A Campiones T-Shirt

In the 2008/2009 season Inter Milan won the Serie A for the 17th time (fourth time in a row, from 2005-06 to 2008-09). To celebrate their 17th win, the Re-Take series from Subside Sports brings a T-shirt is Inter’s blue color with “Internazionale” and “Campione d’Italia” with the Italy’s flag shield in the middle with 17 written over it on the front. The back of the shirt says “Campione 17″.

Inter Milan 2008/09 Kits

Nike and Inter Milan teamed up once again to create the kits for the 2008/09 Serie A campaign.  It is no secret that I prefer simple kits, and that is what we got with these two kits.

Home

Taking the traditional blue and black vertical stripes, Nike did nothing to mess this kit up.  Add the white Nike logo and some gold piping and that is it!

Away

Simple and clean must have been the discussion in the board room when officials were deciding on the away kit.  It is nothing but all white with some black trim.  Some might say a bit too dull and boring, but I love it!

Inter Milan 2007-08 Away Kit

Tagged: Inter Milan

For the 2007-08 Serie A campaign, Inter Milan went a different route with their away kits. I would be lying if I said I knew where the inspiration came from, but it looks like a kit that should be worn by England. However I like its originality and unique features.

Utilizing a red cross on a white field, Inter Management and Nike have made a unique kit that is stunning to say the least. Nike incorporated small red markings on the edge of the sleeves to flow smoothly with the red cross that dons the entire front of the kit. In a unique position, the sponsor logo is under the Inter badge on the left chest. This is something that could only be done with a long time sponsor, such as “Pirelli”. With everything that makes this kit unique and nothing that Inter has had before, I must give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Inter Milan 2007-08 Home Kit

Tagged: Inter Milan

Inter Milan is one of those clubs that can be recognized from nothing more than their home kit. Traditional vertical stripes of blue and black are standard with the club and the kit. So why change something that has worked so well for so many years?

Nike used the same design as previous years but added a traditional collar, which I like. Long time sponsor “Pirelli” is in their typical place in the center of the top with the tradtional Inter badge on the left chest. Like thier competitors over at Adidas, Nike has figured out a way to make the vertical stripes flow into the sleeves. I like this kit because it is a throw back to a far gone era. I am going to give it a 3 out of 5 stars, but it is definitely on the higher end of the threes.
