Fulham 08/09 Home Shirt

Fulham’s 08/09 home kit is manufactured by Nike and is in it’s traditional white with a black collar and sleeve rims, which help give the kit a traditional style and substance. The LG logo covers the center with the Nike swoosh and the FFC crest on the right and left sides respectively.

Fulham 2007-08 Third Kit

Tagged: Fulham

After a dull design on the Away kit, Nike and Fulham both redeemed themselves with this kit. Officially being called the “Third Kit”, I would hope that it will get more time than the official away kit. This simple kit utilizes a color that is not in the scheme of traditional Fulham colors. This powder blue is only broken up by the Fulham badge on the usual left chest position, and the sponsor logo in the usual center position.

The features that really make this a classic kit are the color and the simplicity. The color is out of the ordinary for a Fulham squad, and the simplicity keeps the kit clean and looking sharp. To me it would replace the official away kit today…but I do not get to make that call. Would be nice if they at least called and asked my opinion.

Fulham 2007-08 Away Kit

Tagged: Fulham

Fulham and Nike collaborated again to find the perfect away kit for the 2007-08 season. This however was not the perfect kit. Utilizing vertical stripes of red and black, Fulham left a lot to be desired with this kit. There is nothing that jumps out at me and say’s “this is a great looking kit”. To me it is just another team that is trying to be Newcastle with their kit.

Aside from the poor design, the colors do match the Fulham badge perfectly. Thus creating a seemless transition for the fan wondering what team is playing. Personally I think there was a little more that Fulham could have done with this kit, but this is what they will wear, so we must accept it.

Fulham 2007-08 Home Kit

When Fulham walk onto their home pitch this season, it will be in a classic looking Nike top. Together, Fulham and Nike, designed an instant classic with its clean white background that is not bothered by any other colors. With the traditional Fulham badge on the left chest and the sponsor’s logo in the center of the top it makes for a simple yet elegant kit.

One nice feature that could have been done by complete accident is the logo of the sponsor is the same red as in the Fulham badge. This might be a coincedence, but it adds a nice touch. To top off this classic kit, Nike incorporated a collar…a real collar. This is something that many manufacturers have gone away from, thus giving this kit a unique look.
