Bundesliga 2008/09 Kits
For all of you that consider the Bundesliga to be your holy grail, then you have come to the right place.
Below is a list of the 2008/09 kits that all your favorite German Club Teams will be wearing. Check back for updates as the seasons continue!
Arminia Bielefeld
The Home Kit is blue with white markings.
The Away Kit is white with blue markings. Both are extremely nice looking.
Bayern Leverkusen
Adidas was called to design the kits for Bayern Leverkusen. The Home Kit is red with black across the top.
The Away Kit is whit with light grey vertical stripes, white on the sides and black stripes on the shoulders.
Bayern Munich
Though the video is not the best way to unveil kits. The kits themselves are nice.
Borussia Dortmund
The Home Kit is the traditional yellow with black trim and thin vertical stripes.
The Away Kit has a yellow sash on a black top. It is hilariously ugly.
Borussia Moenchengladbach
The Home Kit is solid white with a lot going on. Black and teal vertical stripes down the left side, horrible red Lotto logos on the sleeves and a black collar. Too much going on.
Eintracht Frankfurt
The Home Kit is half red and half black. Nicely done.
The Away Kit is solid white with black markings and red trim.
The Third Kit is the same design as the Away Kit except solid black with white markings and red trim.
Energie Cottbus
The Home Kit is half red and half white by Saller.
FC Koln
Reebok created simple kits for FC Koln. The Home Kit is solid red with a white collar.
The Away Kit is solid white with a red collar.
Hamburg SV
The Away Kit is beautifully made by Adidas with half blue and half black. Great color scheme and design.
The Third Kit is solid red with a darker red marking around the sides.
Hannover 96
Their Home, Away and Third kits are manufactured by Under Armour. Not a very popular brand in football but well-known in other sports. They have kept their kits very simple.
Hertha BCS Berlin
The Home Kit has vertical stripes of blue and white with red trim. Nice contrast.
The Away Kit is solid black with a large white horizontal stripe with red trim.
Karlsruher SC
The Home Kit is a beautifully designed all white top with blue markings by Jako.
The Away Kit is yellow with red markings and a red collar.
Schalke 04
The Home Kit is solid blue with white trim and the patented three stripes in white on the shoulders.
Hoffenheim
The Home Kit and the Away Kit are designed exactly the same. One is blue with black trim, one is white with black trim.
VFB Stuttgart
The Home Kit is a nice design by Puma. All white with a red horizontal stripe on the front and red trim.
The Away Kit is the same as the Home Kit minus the collar. All red with a white stripe.
The Third Kit is all black with a red horizontal stripe and the collar is added on again.
VFL Bochum
The Home Kit and Away Kit are exactly the same design with different colors. The Home Kit is blue with white, the Away Kit is white with blue.
VFL Wolfsburg
The Home Kit is solid green with white trim and a white collar.
The Away Kit has black and blue vertical stripes.
Werder Bremen
The Home Kit is a beautifully designed all white top with green trim and a green horizontal stripe by Kappa.
The Away Kit is all green with a unique design to the white collar.
The Third Kit is my favorite of Werder Bremen’s Kits. Solid black with green and gold trim.

Just a little remark: It’s “Bayer” instead of “Bayern” Leverkusen! The club doesn’t have anything to do with the country of Bavaria(”Bayern” in German); the “Bayer” comes from the company Bayer (who – among others – produce aspirin).
Sorry about that. It was not my intention to put the “n” on the end.
