Blackburn Rovers 09/10 Away Kit

Written by gGw. Tagged: 2009/2010 Kits - Blackburn - Umbro

The Blackburn Rovers and Umbro have launched the 2009/2010 away kit recently. For the first time in the history of the club, the Rovers will wear the white away shirt with the hint of red and the awkward-looking-blue. They will have a pair of striking red shorts and socks to go with the white shirt.

Manufacturer logo on the right of the chest, club crest on the left and the sponsor logo in the middle of the shirt as usual.

Im a United fan and I think this kit is pretty nice. I agree with Graham Taylor though, this kit is too similar to the home kit! Maybe a colour clash problem?

I’m a United fan and I like this kit it’s pretty nice. However, I agree with Graham Taylor, it is far too similar to the home kit. A colour clash problem???

  5. well i think it is a nice kit i do not support blackburn

  6. Im a Man utd fan and i think this kit adds a new element to Blackburn yet if this there away kit they should change there home kit to a navvy blue like there away kit in 08/09

  7. As a rovers fan, I like this kit very much. Its not
better than our current one but its a good change. For once, the incorporation of the Crown Paints logo doesn’t seem like an after-thought.

I agree with the colour clash discussion. We should be wearing this kit against teams in blue such as Everton, Chelsea and Portsmouth. My guess is that the current away kit may become a 3rd kit

  8. Im a United fan but i love this kit (Y)

  9. It will look great if we’re playing away on Boxing Day.

I hate the kit. The blue and red don’t work well, hence the discontinuation of using red on our home shirts. But, the white is a disasterous idea in itself, for obvious reasons. My guess is we could be reverting back to the blue shirts we started off with, but it’d have to be in celebration or rememberance of a title win or something, which I doubt. We should bring back the yellow away kit. Bad mistake Rovers.

I am a Blackburn supporter . This is horrible the blue and red do not go and it looks more like a Man Utd kit rather thank Blackburn….

I am not sue if it will go down well with th supporters.

  12. Although I am a Sunderland supporter, I am still partial to the Rovers and very impressed with their new road jersey. I can and will proudly own one soon.

I think it is sharp, bright and fresh. Sometimes less is more and Blackburn hit it right with this one. Shows lots of style. Sure beats so many of the awful road kits teams have been displaying which favored such dark, clashing colors. Check the new kits, teams are getting away from this. Even Sunderland’s road kit this year is a sharp, simple white.

If the Rovers play half as well as this shirt looks then expect a strong campaign for Blackburn. Well done Blackburn Rovers. Good luck this season, except against Sunderland of course!
