Barcelona 2008-2009 Away Kit (Leaked)

Written by Ahmed Bilal. Tagged: Barcelona

Barcelona’s 2008-09 Away kit made by Nike has appeared to be leaked “accidently” to the public.  To be honest I do not believe that anything is “accidently” leaked to the public, it’s out there to get the media and fans talking about the club.  Anyways, here it is.

It seems they are taking a page out of Chelsea’s book and using a bright color that has nothing to do with the color scheme of the club.  I like it honestly, it’s not nearly as bright as the Chelsea “Electric Yellow” they wear.  That thing is horrible.  This one is a nice yellow and really meshes nicely with the crest and stripes down the left side.  Overall I think it’s a decent kit.  Just have to see if it is what they say it is in the near future.

  1. Fake, or dodgey loking real kit.

Check out the Unicef logo, defintly added with a computer as it is sort of pixalated, And also the collar detail looks nothing like a proper Nike Barca bit….

    I could be picky though..

  2. WICKED

  3. Well its not that good.

If it is real, why would they put it on the floor and take the picture with a Sony Cybershot..?

  4. it’s horrible. it’s better the 2007/2008 away kit!

  5. Uhrrrr!

  6. i preferred last season’s away kit

  7. Well I don’t think they are taking a page out of Chelsea’s book. I mean as far as I remember, it was Barca who first played in that bright flourescent/yellow kit in the 06/07 season and Chelsea later followed suit in the 07/08 season.

  8. nah its real, the same hapend with celtic kit 3years ago they were hanging over a table and taken with a cam!they make a few strips just as samples.nike obviously has sum1 they cant trust they keep making it out lol, celtic kit hasnt been officially released yet either but the photos are all over the net

Reminds me of the old “Mistra” kits back in the day when Gary Lineker and Steve Archibald played for FC Barcelona. See below:

My nostalgic choice would be for the all orange kit as a tribute to the first ever Barcelona side to lift the European Cup at Wembley in 1992.

While the actual kit was ugly, there’s something memorable about that color scheme and its historical place. I’m never sure as to the reason why it was orange, but I’ve always suspected that the color was related to Barcelona’s Dutch influence. I could be totally wrong.

  10. this is ugly, the yellow is just too yellow and its like celtics white one with the streak behind the badge. The unicef looks too pixely and fake.

  11. vãi l?n!
