Barcelona 08-09 Home Shirt

Written by Ahmed Bilal. Tagged: 2008/2009 Kits - Barcelona - Nike

Barcelona’s 08/09 home kit is half red and half blue (with the traditional blue shorts) and although some fans (typically) don’t like the new kit, I think it’s a bold and successful design by Nike and it also serves to reflect the internal (spiritual) conflict in the club in terms of bridging the success of the past with their present and future achievements on the pitch.

  1. wow it doesnt look that great, i like the 2005 ones better

  2. It’s quite nice but I think that tradition should be upheld.

  3. nike ruin pretty much all their shirts the new juventus kit is terrible as well

  4. i think it looks nice, its similiar to the centenary shirt

  5. its nice but would be better if the colours on the sleeves were swaped

  6. paul if they swaped the sleeves then it will be the 06/07 jersey

i liked the 05/06 kit the best. was classic barca, red shorts, unique. ever since unicef logo was printed on out shirts, we havent won anything. its bad luck. i say put unicef on the sleeve under TV3 logo. also last seasons top was nice aswell. even nicer without unicef!!!

this season is plain and boring.

  8. This kit will cause uproar after a few games from Barca players and opponents.

Players will look up and see half their team mates in blue and half in red depending in which way their team-mates are facing.

Opponents will have a similar problem and will not be able to wear either red or blue when playing at the camp Nou
