Manchester United’s new 09/10 home shirt seems to be plain red with a black stripe on the front and black collar, white shorts and a red stripe going down the sides. It’s the last season AIG will be sponsoring Manchester United, but that’s a different story.
From the leaked images we had before, it seemed like Nike was trying to milk the historical aspect as much as they could, while keeping the kit’s design to be both historically relevant and fashionable, as it was evident by the attempt to design a schoolgirl uniform with the white V and full collar.

It looks like the kit 2 years ago. Just the white V has been enlarged. I dont think that will be the kit its horrible.

I don’t mind it. Looks pretty classical, and as we know retro is a bit of a craze these days. I spose the good thing is it’s something out of the box, something we, well I, certainly didn’t expect. Will be interesting either way to see what is picked.

This kit looks ok its not 2 bad but i saw som1 said manchester uniteds kits should be designed by adidas.. i dont think thats a good idea have a look at chelseas 09-10 kit and you will see also i think they should only make slight changes frm the current kit not huge changes like what they have done 2 this kit

instead of the big ugly v at the front, you could put a irregular shaped isolated small v around the collar, I mean make it more smooth then edgy…

I think the kit is great, does not look like any of the recent ones, i heard its got lace up collar too like 1993, think it will look cool, think that the away kit should be white and black, and the 3rd all black or yellow and green halves.

Look at the Man Utd bage, its a really badly cut logo from the home shirt last season! You can even see white edges on the outside bit of it.
Also, look at the red, especially above the white chevron on the front. It’s all blotty and and varies between red colours.
FAKE, although, the chevron idea is quite prominently accepted as the new shirt. Whether it will be white or black is unknown.
I dont think this kit is any good, i think they made the last kit to suit ronaldo but now he has fu**ed of they suld bring out this top but dont have the white triangle as big and take of the big collar! its not as bad as boltons, check that top out lol

This compared to the new Chelsea kit I’d say is far better. Our Chelsea kit looked like a nightgown with zipper and a internal bra. Seriously almost all the new kits suck this time around. Last years Chelsea’s and Man Utd’s kit were far better..why change?? I have last years one, not going to buy the new one. Maybe that can teach the designers a lesson

this kit is awesome.. i love the fact that it has some black on the shirt.. it makes the reds look a bit more powerful.. the old one was pure ladies s$$t.. this one is for men.. and the away kit.. its awesome too.. the black shirt with the turquoise V stripe.. its something original.. it represents the creativity our players possess.. i just love all those new kits.. p.s cant wait to see em play with those kits.. specially michael owen
