How can Sheffield United improve this summer?

Written by Ahmed Bilal. Tagged: Sheffield United

As part of our 2006/2007 Premiership season-end review, here’s a look at how Sheffield United’s season went. Read up, then offer your own advice on how Sheffield United can improve this summer.

  1. Pre-season expectations: Sheffield United were expected to struggle and face the relegation battle all season.
  2. Season evaluation: Heartbreak for Warnock and his men as Sheffield United, so close to Premiership survival, bottled it at home on the last day.
  3. The Big Negative: The constant carping by Neil Warnock.
  4. The Big Positive: Sheffield United’s fighting spirit - they did well considering the resources they had.
  5. Summer Priority: To rebuild and use their Premiership experience to work for promotion next season.

Sheffield United can consider themselves unlucky, but they had Premiership survival in their hands and they blew it. Bouncing back will be difficult.

Now it’s your turn: How do you think Sheffield United can improve this summer?
