Ronaldinho

Following up on our coverage of the Manchester United vs Europe XI match on 13th March, there is now confirmation of four Barcelona players lining up to face Manchester United as part of the Europe XI squad.

Barcelona have announced the availability (presumably, these players were asked for by Lippi, manager of Europe XI) of Ronaldinho, Zambrotta, Puyol and Thuram. These four will join Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher and David Beckham in representing Europe XI at Old Trafford.

Europe XI still lack a keeper, so I’m thinking that either Casillas or Buffon will be brought in. More on possible team selections on the Manchester United vs Europe XI thread.

  6. I’v got a question. I know it’s a little old case, but month ago Barcelona midfielder, Xavi, said, that Manchester United contacted his agent. But MU said that they aren’t interested in him. So who is right ? And why someone here’d lie ?
