Loic Remy Cardiff v Newca 011 ON A ROLL: After Sanchez, Arsenal close in on French striker

Independent have quoted London based newspaper Get West London claiming that talks have taken place between the two clubs this week but but personal terms are yet to be agreed.

Arsenal’s desperation to sign a striker are well documented as the London club need a quality player up front who can take the pressure of Olivier Giroud up front.

Remy has now returned to England following France’s elimination from the World Cup in Brazil but Newcastle might still swoop if the Gunners delay negotiations.

Remy had earlier been spotted in the stands at the Emirates which fueled speculations linking him to a move to the Gunners.

  1. It appears from other reports that we can’t agree personal terms for Remy. After all the hype and excitement that he was going to sign for us it now seems that our tight fisted pay policy is in place for some players yet other players seem to be paid a king’s ransom and nothing said about it. Just pay the Guy and sign him before someone else does.

    • It’s looking like we will take remy and qpr will take campbell on loan. But we are demanding abduction on remy price as a loan fee for campbell.

Ffs why cant we just buy remy and pay him 75k

Similarly the hold with debuchy is that newscastle want jenkinson on loan.

  2. Remy will be marvellous at Arsenal with his speed and power he will be fantastic as he is a more ruthless finisher compared to Giroud. Combination of Remy, Campbel, Sanchez makes me a bit dizzy. Cant wait to see Emirates cup.

  3. I don’t think Sanchez is the right player as a striker y did Wenger reject ballotelli is it bcos of his controversy character? or Italian? ballotelli is strong’ goal sense’ vision’ long range & calculative.
