Ronaldo is the world player of the year even Messi knows it.
He deserves it after a wonderful season 2008.I think fifa knows it and should not look anywhere.

Well, I wouldn't say that Subhankar is wrong even if elconfidencial and El mundo are pro-Barcelona. I think Real Madrid have this notion that if they come out and say that they've agreed to sign certain players whether or not it's true, it would unsettle said players and work to Real's advantage.

Think about it. We all know that Marca are Real's mouthpiece and so for Marca to come out with a headline as ridiculous as Real coming to an agreement with United at such an early stage of the season for a player we weren't going to allow to leave just 4 months prior would massively affect any shreds of integrity that paper has. Especially after the paper spent the majority of the last transfer window claiming that Ronaldo would be a Real Madrid player before the first ball was kicked at the start of this season.

So Real instead give the "news" to a pro-Barcelona paper who would obviously report it because it would give them an edge over Marca as far as sales goes and It works for Real because they still get their "news" out there.

You do know that elconfidencial.com and El Mundo Deportivo are both Pro-Barcelona publications right? So your notion that Real Madrid started these rumors is just beyond ridiculous.
