Clearly, many of the errors are so egregious that the games must be fixed. Real Madrid has been a major beneficiary and could not have won the title last year without the fixes. But the frustration that built in some Madrid players was also in part due to the ref and some of his calls. I am not saying that the ref is the reason Madird have been knocked out, though. They played with two wooden feet. All of them. Ryan, how do you figure that I am a Real Madrid fan? Ahmed, maybe they should make a footy version of the Oscars. The Porto goalkeeper came out of his box, prevented a sure shot on goal by diving and spreading his hands, a clear red card. Unfortunately neither the linesman nor the referee saw it. Though if I was a Madrid fan and my team just got bounced out of the CL I'd probably blame the loss on the one-sided refereeing too.
