yesterday during the EUFA tie ANDERLECHT-TOTTENHAM Mr Skomina disalowed a goal from Frutos for dubious offside, gave the Spurs a doubtfull penalty, denied Anderlecht one and was not consistend in whistling fouls ( favoritising TTH).

For me there might be bribery involved, it is a referre to watch close in further games…

I think you missed the straight red Tomic should’ve gotten for handling the ball just before the break, clearly robbing Rigters of a sure goal-scoring opportunity. As for that Kruiswijk tackle, deff should’ve been a card.

He’s still young, so he should be learning this still, but he can ref a bit too much by the rules sometimes, take the Portugal-Italy match for example. Overall, great ref though, while his style and a decent prick factor make him the ideal ref to curse and yell at .

Excellent stuff mate.

One thing I’d disagree with – you say that he should have sent Beerens off. In the circumstances you describe, I think he did the right thing by letting the game go on and not be too officious about it. There’s no point in handing out a red card for a shove (unless he pushed him Zidane-style and knocked him down flat) in extra-time when the result has already been decided.

Also, I think that apart from personal opinion on such decisions which cause fans to disagree, the other key problem is that of referees missing incidents and then not being able to judge them accurately.
