Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo reports as well

As requested by manager Carlo Ancelotti, the Galacticos are looking to wrap up the deal before the World Cup kicks off.

Representatives of both clubs will be meeting tomorrow to discuss it, as well as Morata and Marcelo or Coentrao – players Juventus are interested in and Real Madrid are willing to include in a deal for the Chilean star.

The story comes in the wake of Madrid’s long standing interest in Paul Pogba who was reportedly called by Real legend Zindine Zidane to join him at the Bernebeu. We had also reported that Pogba’s national team mate Karim Benzema had also urged the youngster to make the switch to the Spanish capital.

Premier League giants Manchester United have also been keeping tabs on Pogba and Vidal and after Sir Alex Ferguson was pictured sitting beside Juventus’ manager Antonio Conte, it was rumoured that the Red Devils had made the first move to secure the services of Vidal, by offering a €30m to the Bianconeri. However the story has died down ever since. Another version of a story claims that the player will however stay in Turin in the summer.

Vidal has been the vital cog in Conte’s side who have claimed the Serie A titles for three seasons in a row. The Chilean who has featured in 44 appearances for the Old Lady scoring 18 goals and grabbing 5 assists, will play a key role in his country’s World Cup campaign at Brazil later this month.

Vidal would easily fit in Real Madrid’s system given his fantastic tackling abilities and being able to drive the team from the middle of the park. This would also allow Luca Modric to play in a more attacking role, relieving the Croatian of his defensive duties while Xabi Alonso too would be assured to play his normal game as a passer in Ancelotti’s favoured 4-2-3-1 setup.
