I agree that you shouldn&#039;t buy just for the sake of buying, but Reading STILL need to buy. You can&#039;t be seriously telling me that there aren&#039;t any players that would be willing to play for Coppell and aren&#039;t going to improve the team.

Wage Structure - if Reading cannot compete at this level in wages against the likes of Pompey and Villa, then they have a serious problem.</description>

If we had gone out and splashed Â£10m on 3 Championship players, would that have increased our chances of staying up? No. But in the media&#039;s eyes it would do because it shows our &quot;ambition&quot;.

Like Coppell said, there is a very narrow market of players who will:
a) Improve the side
b) Come at a cost we can afford, and wages that will not break our structure
c) Want to play for the club and have the right personality

If Lita and Shorey leave, which I am certain they only would if we are relegated, we have Shane Long and Scott Golbourne to potentially replace them.</description>
