Liverpool are back in the Champions League and Brendan Rodgers is making sure that he and his club are active in the transfer market.

The Reds have already completed four signings in this summer transfer window, having added Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana from Southampton, versatile player Emre Can and winger Lazar Markovic.

Meanwhile, the Merseyside club have lost their star player Luis Suarez as the Premier League’s top scorer completed a switch to Barcelona earlier this month. In addition to this, last summer’s two signings Iago Aspas and Luis Alberto have left Anfield on loan to Sevilla and Malaga respectively.

Suarez’s sale to the La Liga giants has seen them raise around £75m and Rodgers has vowed to spend those funds in order to bring in new faces to the club this summer. Liverpool are going to add few more players to the squad, while few of the existing players could he heading for Anfield exit.

Lambert will play a key role in the attacking front, while Lambert will be used as a second fiddle striker next season. Meanwhile, Markovic will also play a crucial role on the wider positions.

Can on the other hand will be handed the role to guard his central defenders and give the full-backs the much needed protection when they are going up front to support the wider players.

We need to see how many players will be coming to Anfield in the ongoing transfer window as it looks like there is still a lot more business to be done.
