    All very well that but surely a bit of leg would not go amiss!? :)

  2. 5th last paragraph has some instructions for more pictures BD…..

    Everything that the girls wear has to be okayed by the club; the white trousers must be a nightmare for whoever washes the uniforms!

    Thanks for that.!Some fine looking lassies there! Interesting that in some sports cheerleaders are the norm but not so in others.

    Unusual in football I have to say.

  4. Yeah there most certainly are!

    Like you say, its interesting that cheerleaders are part of the furniture in some sports and not very prevalent in others.

    I have to be honest and say that before researching this article I didnt know that the dance squad did so much for the community and so much work for charity.

    It really is something to be applauded and I really hope that they continue for many years to come!

  6. hopefully this interview will help the fans realise what exactly we do for Rangers and the community. Thanks to RangersMedia for the interview :)

    Not that I am ever one for stirring the pot but do Celtic do anything similar? ;)

  8. nope. i think they are looking into it though!

  9. As the interview suggests, they’re looking for sponsors. Any football bloggers reading this interested? :)

    Nice to see what cheerleaders do other than dance, good article.

  11. Good interview that highlights the full benefits that the Dance Squad bring to Rangers.
    Positive promotion of image and interaction with the community. What better ?
    Just to add, if I were a fan of a foreign team coming to Glasgow to play Rangers and was met by the Rangers Dance Squad(as happens)I would be a happy man indeed !!

    Cheerleaders? Leave them to the Americans.

  13. Why leave it to the Americans? What’s wrong with having the cheerleaders at Ibrox?

  14. the cheerleaders do a great job at ibrox. well done!

  15. Watching the dancers at Ibrox-I have seen them dance in the rain, mud, through sprinklers…I have even heard the music begin before they are ready to start! But they seem to be professional enough to pull it all together no matter what.

    Anyway, the day is about the footie, dont get me wrong, but its a nice wee “treat”!

    And I read that Celtic may be starting a dance group up…and that the Raqngers girls NEED a sponsor. theres no way I would want to see a Celtic group dancing and no Rangers group just because they have no sponsor!

    GET SPONSORING THEM …. QUICK!!!!

    P.S New outfits wouldnt go a-miss…

  16. Us dancers are looking for a new sponsor now. And think of the publicity the sponsor would be recieving:

    * 50000+ fans at each game at IBROX
    * IBROX photographs
    * Promotions at numerous events

    And your right ‘John’! We certainly have danced in some adverse conditions!
