Portugal have a deep squad of wingers, but are almost laughable in the striker department. Ronaldo's ability to play up front will enable them to put two out of Quaresma, Nani and Simao on the wings where they are best. He's just trying to get all of his best players on the pitch at once and Ronaldo's versatility allows for that.... This works perfectly for Portugal, and shouldn’t really damage United in any way.
