QPR looking to swoop on Loic Remy and M’Vila
Marseille sporting director Jose Anigo feels their squad is “fully armed” at the moment and any suitable offer for Remy could see the player departing in January.
The 26-year-old has only made 12 appearances this season and has yet to open his goal scoring account in the Ligue 1. Redknapp is looking to pave the way for the Frenchman by selling his compatriot Djibril Cisse who is seen as surplus to requirements at the club.
The 22-year-old highly rated midfielder was linked with both North London clubs – Arsenal and Tottenham – in the summer transfer window and stated that he could move on provided the offer and destination is right for him.
M’Vila has made 146 appearances in four seasons at Rennes and has been a regular member for the France national team as well.
He is currently banned from the national team for breaking a curfew to visit a Paris nightclub just days before a European Championship play-off meeting against Norway in October while he has served previous one match suspension for breaking disciplinary records after refusing to shake hands of Olivier Giroud when he was replaced by the Arsenal striker during the Euro 2012 match against Spain.
Rennes owner Federic Antonetti threw light on the matter saying the midfielder could be sold if the club receive any suitable bid for him.
