Manchester United need to sign Denilson, for those who dont know Denilson he is a brazili7an trickster who is fabulous and is a FREE AGENT and Jay Jay Okocha is a FREE AGENT aswell i think those two would be great for United a7nd it wouldnt cost a single penny apart from wages then united can splash out on Diarra and hold on to ruud for another season then use next seasons transfer funds for a out and out top class striker who is Goal Scorer. Sir Alex Ferguson must book his ideas up, he is 1 of the best managers in the world but one thing he lacks in the past 2 seasons is transfer negoations, okay he done good with signing Rooney but a club like Everton is never going to turn down £30,000,000 are they? so that wasnt hard for Sir Alex, he must be off loaded by 2008 season if the united players want to feel what its like to pick up a trophy again.
manchester united have been told by spurs they must up their bid from £10,000,000 to around £15,000,000 for england ace Michael Carrick, Ruud Van Nistelrooy confirms he wants to stay at Manchester United despite all the speculation linking him to europes top clubs. Manchester united have failed in there attempt to sign Eidur Gudjonsson from chelsea, He's reportedly discussing personal temrs with La Liga Champions Barcelona over a £9,000,000 deal. In a recent voting poll at Uniteds official website (www.manutd.com) fans have voted saying they want Fernando Torres and Juan Roman Riquelme to sign contracts at The Theatre of Dreams Despite Torres to be worth over £20,000,000, but Fernando Torres may be tempted to move to Old Trafford as they can offer Champions League football, while Torres has NEVER played a in a european competion at club level.
You're right - 8 mil + Martins is a good choice, but that sounds too good to be true. I'm thinking Inter will go for either 8 mil or Martins, not both.

RVN, with better midfield support, is a better finisher than Saha AND Rooney. That being said, I still think he should have been sold last summer (would've got a pretty 12-15 mil for him).

This time - I don't know. This is the same guy who was compared with Henry (an unequal comparison, but still) two years ago - he's not lost the touch, he needs better players in the midfield to perform.

And if they sell him AND the midfield isnt seriously improved, then trust me, no matter whether we get Martins or not, there will be backlash. The media has hyped the RVN-Ferguson non-spat too much; I doubt the fans think he's expendable.

How much do you think RVN is worth at his age being a striker? With Saha's pace, ability to hold on to the ball, win headers, 8 million quid with Martins comin this way would be the best deal possible mate. And trust me, there wouldn't be any backlash.
