  1. A bit biased :)

I’d put in Essien over Scholes in this list, and probably put in Kuyt ahead of Saha.

I’d question Lamps position as well.

  2. Well if you think about it, the players up there have put up a solid performance in almost, if not all matches they have played this season. This list took me a long time to calculate by getting all team of the weeks from other websites, all players of the matches from every game tally them all together, and this is what I got up with, if you have anything against it, tell me, before i post up the next one.

  3. Biased definately but fair enough, but really dont think Neville has been that good at all. He might be getting into good positions and causing problems, but he has had about 10 one on ones this season and not even put one in the back of the net. Definaltely Essien somewhere in there, but not over Scholes. Agree with everything else.

  4. Why are rio, neville, scholes and giggs there?

  5. Sorry, how many United players? How many Premiership games have u watched this season besides the ones involving Man U? And Lampard?!?

  6. No Michael Essien, no credibility.

Giggs has been absolutely superb this season (5 crucial assists, 2 goals and a constant thorn in the opposition’s side). ‘A man’ is clearly not ‘a man utd fan’, and probably has serious prejudices against the team. Lampard is statistically the best midfielder in the premiership so far (check Opta or the FA’s Fantasy Premier League) - how can you argue against this?

  8. Kuyt over Saha and Doyle over Kanu!

  9. Lampard? are you kidding?

  10. essien should be there.
