Premiership’s best young talent, club by club

English Premiership squads are full of exciting young talent just waiting to be given the opportunity to prove themselves in the first-team, but who do you think is your team’s most valuable asset?
Teams like Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool obviously have no end to the talent in their youth and reserve teams, but what about other clubs? Having paid close attention to the reserve and youth leagues over the past couple of seasons, here’s my predictions for each Premiership teams stars of the future (not counting obvious established first-teamers):

Krystian Pearce
Patrick Kavanagh

Keith Tracey
Kevin Pezzoni
Raffaele De Vita
Bolton Wanderers:
Kyle Bartley
James Sinclair

What about Rossi and Pique for manutd?
I feel that most of Arsenals team can be considered real prospects for the future. Think about Denilson, Eboue, Diaby..these are all players for the future
As for Man Utd, how about Rossi? and Cathcart?
For Arsenal, Denilson looks great, and he isn’t a regular first teamer. As well, Nicolas Bendtner looks great with Lupoli. And for Man U, I know that he turned out for Watford for most of the season, but Ben Foster looks like a gun. And it is nice to see an Aussie in there, with Federici in for Reading, another great player from Brisbane!
didnt Reading buy an Australian (AIS) guy aswell ??
Apparantly he is what kewell used to be in his Leeds days…very fast, left footed, and loves running at - and then past - defenders
Yeah, how does Rossi not make the list of Man Utd?
umm correct me if im wrong but didnt Rossi get sold to Fiorentina ? or was that Lupoli
Reading bought a person from Sydney FC. But as it goes for the AIS, I don’t know.
Lupoli is still at Arsenal.
Glichy will be the best left back in the world in a few years. He is lightning quick as he is the only player who could keep up with Lennon. He has a great left foot with his crosses usually being perfect, it is just that Arsenal only have Adebayor to get on the end of them, and he doesn’t use his height well. He is super fit to keep on runnning up the sideline, and his runs are great.
Have yet to see him in action myself but Grant Leadbitter is rated fairly well by Sunderland fans. Same age group approximately as Man Utd’s Evans and a local lad. In the first team (or the fringes of it) but seemed to do better coming off the bench last season though.
well maybe you should find out about sunderland!!!!!!!
lupoli issnt an arsenal player he has went back to italy to play
Yappie - Rossi is still a United player.
Guys, Alan does say that he’s looking at players for the future, those that are NOT in the first-team squad. Denilson is very much in Arsenal’s first team squad, and Rossi is the same for United. I imagine Pique will slot right in as well.
And yeah, i’m pretty sure that Arturo Lupoli is now at Fiorentina, Citing that he got sick of being over looked by Wenger.
Villa sold Olejnik this summer.
Adel Taraabt is the hot new talent for Spurs, he’s come on twice as a substitute last season, in the 3-3 FA cup draw against Chelsea he was on fire. Now he’s signed his permanent contract, I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of this kid.
Sergio Peter and Eddie Nolan are brighter young talents than the ones mentioned here at Blackburn.
We also have a yound swedish left back, Martin Olsson - who is set to become top class!!
Giles Barnes for Derby?
Yea lupoli’s contract ran out and /Fiorentina took him, and Liam O’ Sullivan: Clichy is really good, fast and all the rest you said, but he is clearly not a good crosser of the ball, he might get better, but his crosses are normally rubbish.
For Sunderland:
Grant Leadbitter
Dan Smith
Anthony Stokes?? He’s young and good, but isn’t a first-team player..
Derby:
Lee Camp
Karl Ashton
Ryan Smith
Wigan:
Ryan Taylor
Tomas Cywka
David Cotterill
SirYappie, I think you’re thinking of Oliver Bozanic (not gonna pretend I knew that off the top of my head, had to look it up because I’d never even heard of the kid). Never been to AIS from what I have read, but is a left winger (ala H. Kewell). Of course he’s not the only Australia coming up through a Premiership Club that’s been compared (most of who ARE, in fact, AIS graduates). I remember when Harry Kewell himself named his successor in Adam Hardy who graduated from AIS, went to France, got homesick and retired before even turning pro.
Back to the topic, I don’t think there can be much doubt that Arsenal have the best younygsters coming through. In fact, they seem to have way too much. Surely not all of the muchly hyped young names they have (both in and out of the squad) can live up to the hype. If I was a Carlos Vela (who all signs point to being a super player) I’d be looking elsewhere. What are the chances of having enough time on the pitch to develop when Van Persie, Adebayor, Reyes (if he comes back), Bendtner and Walcott are probably all considered in the team before him - and that’s after getting rid of Lupoli. He can hardly wait them out since some of them are more or less his age!
Ben Foster and denilson for arsenal.
arsenal have the best young talents all ways the kids went 2 da carling cup final and arsenal r the only team man enough 2 use kids in the carling cup in the past few years liverpool, chelsea, manu never have their own gd talents all they have 2 do is bay mega millions 4 them rooney, ronaldo, swp and liverpools kids r crap all they did is get jealous are sign ex-arsenal pennant and bently to balckburn sidwell upson anthony stokes arsenal simply have the best kids the list goes on from bendtner to theo 2 den 2 walcott 2 lupoly to merida …..
How about Taraabt and Pekhart? The latter is going to be a sensation I think.
O’Halloran for Villa just you keep a lookout! he was at wycombe on loan 06-07 and impressed o’neill whos giving him a first team place this season!
Ben Sahar and Scott Sinclair look pretty good in the little that we see them. You have to wonder, though, if thy will get any substantial time in the next couple years because of Chelsea’s spending habits.
what about theo walcot, gareth bale and anderson(man utds new signing)..promising futur talents indeed
Liverpool’s best prospects are Adam Hammill, Jay Spearing, Danny Guthrie, and Paul Anderson. I rate them and a few others above who you’ve listed.
You might as well put Man Utd/Chelsea against Nathan Porritt because I doubt whether he will play for Middlesbrough. He is already under the influence of an agent. He should wait until he makes it first. I have seen enough false hopes at Middlesbrough over the years.
Sorry but how can you leave out arsenal when saying that MU,CFC and LFC have the most talented youth teams, i know that LFC won the youth cup but all the youth players that they have brought through in the last 5 yrs have sucked something bad, man u have not brought through as many good players as arsenal, no offence to them but players like fletcher and richardson should be playing for teams like boro, not relegation threatened but not europe. just a few names: fabregas, bendtner, senderos, clichy, traore, denilson, djourou, eboue, and walcott adding to vela (the new hugo sanchez?) they have also just brought in a defender from Norway. also players that have gone on to other clubs include sidwell, bentley and ashley cole
If your taling about best young talent you have to look at Villa.
