Premiership 2006/07 - Fixture List Released!!

The Premier League today released a draft fixture list for the upcoming league season today. This fixture list is largely provisional, as changes still have to be made for TV slots and Arsenal/Liverpool will have their fixtures shifted about because of their early season Champions League qualifiers.

We kick off our league season with a home match against Aston Villa on the 19th of August. That is supposed to be followed by two away games, of which Wigan will most probably be rescheduled. What’s interesting is the penultimate match of the season, Chelsea at home. Chelsea may have already wrapped up the league by then or both teams might need a win to keep their Premiership hopes alive. Who knows, interesting fixture to say the least. Also, according to the draft fixture list, Manchester United v Arsenal and Chelsea v Liverpool are on the same weekend. That could be a cracker!

For the full fixture list, visit the Premier League website. Alternatively, you could also go to Soccernet and get the 2006/2007 fixture list from them.

Editor’s Note: The fixture list earlier presented here has been removed following a request from Football DataCo Ltd. Soccerlens plans to purchase the rights to the fixture list, but until then please use the above two links to find out when your teams are playing.

To do that we would have to purchase rights to show the full list. I have a plan to do that but I want to wait till next month, when the Premiership actually starts.

Arsenal are the best team in Europe, hope this year they will clinch the title.
Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool, spent so much of money, but money can’t buy everything. That was clearly shown by Arsene Wenger, Keep going ang going the Gunners.
