Manchester United travel to St. James’ Park on Saturday to take on Newcastle United, with David Moyes eager to maintain their impressive form away from home.

This has been one hell of a frustrating season for the reigning champions, who are languishing seventh in the Premier League table, but Moyes will be buoyed by his team’s recent performances.

United are unbeaten in their last four away games, winning three of them, and should pick up full three points against a struggling Newcastle side that have suffered six defeats in their last nine games.

United did very well to hold European champions Bayern Munich to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night, and expect Moyes to make some changes to freshen things up ahead of the second leg in Germany.

Team News:

Patrice Evra was suspended on Tuesday so should return in place of Alex Buttner at left back, while Rafael is expected to start at right-back with Phil Jones replacing Rio Ferdinand at centre-back.

Marouane Fellaini had a poor game against Bayern, with the Belgian midfielder widely criticised, so Darren Fletcher may be given a start in his place.

Juan Mata was ineligible to face Bayern in the Champions League but the Spaniard is almost certain to return to the starting line-up in the No. 10 role.

Robin van Persie is still struggling with a knee injury so Wayne Rooney will continue up front.

Prediction: 0-2; Man Utd are undefeated in 10 of their last 11 away matches against Newcastle in all competitions, so expect another away victory for the Red Devils.
