Manchester United will take on Stoke City on Saturday afternoon at the Britannia Stadium, where the Champions will be looking to close the gap with Liverpool for the top-four spot.

The Red Devils returned to winning ways after they defeated Cardiff City 2-0 at home in their last match and will be hoping to continue that momentum when they take on Mark Hughes’ side tomorrow.

New January signing from Chelsea, Juan Mata started in the last match and the Spaniard is sure to start again this weekend. Wayne Rooney also returned from injury and the Englishman is likely to take the no 10 role, with Dutchman Robin van Persie operating as a lone striker.

Young Adnan Januzaj is pushing for a recall after starting the last game from the bench while Ashley Young could be in contention to start as well, following his excellent goal in the last match.

In absence of Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, the back four is likely to remain the same, though Tom Cleverley could start in the midfield alongside Phil Jones.

Prediction: 0-2; Man Utd have won 11 of their last 12 matches against Stoke in all competitions while Stoke have lost 5 of their last 6 matches in the Premier League. So, expect yet another victory for the Red Devils.
