The Red Devils will be looking to shake off their disappointment in the Premier League, following their 1-1 draw against Southampton at home on Saturday – the result leaves them in 8th position, 8 points behind leaders Arsenal.

In Europe, David Moyes has been spared a bumpy ride so far, and the Scot knows, positive results in the double header against Real Sociedad will certainly bolster their chances of qualifying to the knockout stages.

In the defence, Moyes will have a late check on the fitness of both Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, both missed the last match due to minor knocks. Jonny Evans therefore is certain to play, while Phil Jones could be given a chance too.

Tom Cleverley is struggling with a calf injury so Moyes will have to rely on the partnership of Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini.

The good news for the home side is Belgium-born midfielder Adnan Januzaj has been added to the Champions League squad as a home-grown player and could make his debut in this competition. Here is the possible line-up for Man Utd.

Do you agree with this line-up? Should Kagawa get a chance instead of Januzaj? Have your say below…
