Liverpool will travel to Wales on Saturday to face Cardiff City in the Premier League, with the Reds looking to close the gap on leaders Chelsea at the top.

Although Brendan Rodgers still remaining coy about the title race, the spirit in the Reds camp is very high, especially after their fantastic 3-0 triumph over Manchester United at Old Trafford in their last match.

Team News:

Defender Mamadou Sakho has recovered to full fitness, but Rodgers might not make any changes in the back four, especially now the defence have kept two consecutive clean sheets.

Likewise, Lucas Leiva, the Brazilian, who came on a sub against United, could be targeting a place in starting XI as well, but its hard to see Rodgers’ abandoning his diamond formation to accommodate him.

The only potential change really is the inclusion of Coutinho, in place of Raheem Sterling. The Brazilian is perfectly suited to play the no 10 role, while Sterling with his menacing pace, is more likely to create problems from the flanks in a wider formation.

This could be the possible starting line-up for Liverpool on Saturday against Cardiff.

Prediction: 0-3; Liverpool have been one of the most entertaining teams in the Premier League this season, and with Suarez and Sturridge firing on all cylinders, expect yet another Reds victory.
