After picking up a fantastic 2-1 victory against Manchester City on Sunday, Liverpool play their second home game in three days as they host relegation threatened Burnley on Wednesday night. The Reds who are currently sixth in the standings will be looking to continue their dream run of form for a top four berth in order to clinch Champions League qualification for next season.

Burnley however come to the game after their narrow loss at home against Swansea in the weekend and Sean Dyche’s team will need to play out of their skin to get anything from Anfield. While Jordan Ibe is expected to be out for four weeks, Liverpool would be boosted by Mamadou Sakho’s return.

Steven Gerrard though misses out on the cation while Glen Johnson could feature. Brendan Rodgers is expected to field a back three consisting of Emre Can, Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho while Jordan Henderson and Joe Allen will pull the strings in midfield.

Lazar Markovic and Alberto Moreno slot in the wingbacks role while Philippe Coutinho and Raheem Sterling should provide support to Daniel Sturridge up front.

Here is the possible Liverpool line up against Burnley:

Predictions: Liverpool should be able to win comfortably in front of the vociferous home faithful. I am going for a 3-0 victory for the Reds.
