Chelsea will take on Everton on Saturday lunch time in the Premier League, where the Blues will be looking to maintain their impressive home record this season with another victory.

Not only do the Blues have not lost a single game at home this season but their record against Everton at the Stamford Bridge is equally terrific – the Londoners are undefeated in their last 19 home matches against the Toffees in all competitions.

However, in the corresponding fixture, Chelsea suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Everton in the Goodison Park. Jose Mourinho said ahead of the match:

“Everton are a good team, they defend well and are dangerous on the counter-attack. It’s a team with good balance.”

In today’s press conference, Mourinho said that defender David Luiz will not take part in Saturday’s Premier League tie due to muscle injury but could be ready to face Galatasaray in the Champions League. So, expect, skipper John Terry to partner Gary Cahill at the back.

In the midfield, Nemanja Matic will be retaining his place but Ramires could come in for Frank Lampard. Samuel Eto’o has been in good form of late but expect Mourinho to go with Fernando Torres for this one.

Prediction: 2-1; Chelsea have an impressive home record against Everton and expect them to maintain that on Saturday as well.
