The Blues have no major injury news ahead of this tie but left-back Ashley Cole will be benched out for internal disciplinary reasons. Chelsea will be looking to bounce back strongly after their shock defeat against Sunderland in the Capital One Cup.

So, how would the Blues line-up against Arsenal in this crucial encounter?

Defence: Jose Mourinho will have to make a choice between David Luiz and Gary Cahill for central defensive role. Against big teams, Cahill and Terry would be more effective and hence the Englishman could get the nod here.

Cesar Azpilicueta will continue to operate on the left-back while Ivanovic will station himself for the right-back role.

Midfield: In an ideal situation, John Obi Mikel should have been there, because, his defensive midfield holding job is effective against big teams, but Mourinho would stick with the trusted partnership of Lampard and Ramires.

Forward: Along with Oscar and Hazard, Brazilian Willian should keep his place; else Juan Mata or Andre Schurrle can be used as well. Spaniard Fernando Torres is expected to start.

Prediction: 1-1, both the managers would be more than happy with a draw, and expect both the London teams to cancel each other out.
