The Gunners are second in the league with just one point behind Chelsea and manager Arsene Wenger predicts that it will be a close title-race this season.

It will be an interesting battle between the two in-form sides. Stoke City are undefeated in nine of their last 10 league matches at home, where as the Gunners are undefeated in 10 of their last 11 matches in the Premier League.

Arsenal will recall Mesut Ozil back for this tie. The Germany international was rested in the last match against Sunderland and is expected to start on Saturday.

However, the Gunners have few injury problems heading into this tie. Left-backs Gibbs and Nacho Monreal are doubtful but skipper Thomas Vermaelen could replace them.

Laurent Koscielny and Jack Wilshere both sustained injury against Sunderland which Wenger described as “not too bad”. While Wilshere may miss out but expect Wenger to start with the french defender against Stoke.

Prediction: 1-2; Stoke have done very well at home this season but Arsenal with more quality should earn three points from the match.

  1. ozil can do better than he can, he needs some time to understand the premier league because it is not an easy competition

  2. Ofcourse rambo is back!,this is gonna be a superb win against stoke.

  3. It’s not easy to handle a player like Ozil. He will be at his best in few days when he will settle down in Premier League. He has to be good at his physical condition and should bear the pressure as he did at Real Madrid. He is a true game changer.

  4. infact ozil lacks a quality sharp striker as wel as arsenal …ozil is leading the very missed assissts …..wenger must bring diego costa at the emirates

  5. Arsenal is bouncing back,i think it will win the game

  6. Arsenal should be able to assign Stoke to where it belongs -the bottom of the table! But it will be a tough duel.
