Paul Pogba and Gareth Bale are two most high profile names in the market this summer.

Frenchman Paul Pogba has been tipped to return to the Premier League this season with the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City linked. The dynamic midfielder has been linked with PSG and Barcelona as well.

It is believed that Juventus are reluctant to let go of their prized asset and will sell Vidal instead, if funds are required. However, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola claims that his client will join a club where the player will be paid most.

Laura Barriales, the presenter of Juventus’ official television channel JTV, claims she spoke to the Frenchman’s agent, who told her that he wanted a pay-rise for his client.

“I asked Raiola ‘where will you take Pogba?’ and he answered ‘wherever there’s more pay’. Obviously, he was telling the truth,” she was quoted as saying by Tuttojuve.

Pogba is reluctant to return to United, having left the club a few years ago. Champions league holders Real Madrid are monitoring the world class midfielder as well, but Raiola is not keen on a deal with the Spanish giants.

Raiola claimed earlier this season that Pogba was offered to Real Madrid, but Perez showed no interest and that was disrespectful.

Despite Juventus’ reluctance to sell Pogba, Italian clubs are known to sell for the right price. If Barcelona and PSG come in with a sumptuous offer, there is no doubt Juventus will look to take it.

Regardless of where he ends up, the Pogba transfer saga has definitely taken an interesting turn now that it is clear that the player and his agent are motivated by money.
