Can I just say, in Middlesbrough's defence, that the average age of our back-line was just 21 the in the games against Blackburn and Wigan. We have injuries to Woodgate, Huth, Pogatetz & Young, so in other words, our entire first choice defence.

If you watched the highlights of the Blackburn match, every single clip was of Middlesbrough, the only 2 chances Rovers had were the goals. Even Paul Merson (who despises Boro) said that we should've at least gotten a draw out of the game. So we can't have done that badly to say we had half of our reserves on the pitch.

Though I admit we were completely useless against Wigan. Boring and shit to be quite honest. I think this was more to do with over-cautious tactics than bad players though(as I've already stated, we dominated Blackburn for the vast majority of the game).

I think our main problem is that Yakubu is playing like an over-cooked piece of broccoli & Aliadiere has only ever played about 4 Premier League matches in his entire life, so needs more matches to sharpen up his play. I think Mido should prove to be a decent signing, though we paid a little over the odds due to Sunderland's embarrasing attempts to cash in on Roy Keane.

We're also missing Rochemback due to suspension who is our main creative play in the middle of the pitch.

I know most people won't give a shit about what I'm saying, but I just get pissed off with teams like Newcastle and Chelsea bleating on about injuries & suspensions as if no one else has them.

Middlesbrough will pick it up. Mark my words.

OK then this is a really weird season so far.

Man United::: Both Rooney and Ronaldo cant play man united its a dash to their Title hopes.

Chelsea:::::: Injuries Galore big players can't play a little slice in thier title hopes.

Liverpool:::: Gerrard is out for a week or two after Chelsea (not a big concern). but now we are a match behind and that can be a hurt on morale.

Arsenal:::::: Top Striker leaves in the summer and similar as liverpool are a game behind.

Spurs::::::::Great Expectations but now a bit depressing on the team.

Everton::::::New smart signings a team that is cleary moving up and up should have at least 5 more points than last season perhaps alot more.

So are Everton in with a chance I know its only two games gone but all the teams above them suffering problems (although Liverpools isnt that bad :) )

Ahmed. Whats happening bud. Why does it take so long for a piece to be uploaded. That piece thats hanging on my profile needs to be deleted now because it had a nice little prediction about Spurs loosing to Everton, which happened! I knew it would but its pointless posting it now!!!

Hey Ahmed I could probably do a few SPL roundups because I have Setanta and watch Celtic every week and they usually have a roundup of the rest of the games after the match.

Oh Joy!

Great game! I envision Van Persie & Hleb as the new one-two punch combo of Wenger's Arsenal (RVP is the Left-Hook & Hleb is the straight jab!). I really, really hope Wenger isn't thinking of selling any of these players before the transfer window. The team seems to be playing together quite nicely & i feel that nothing should upset this apple-cart.

I just hope Arsene can get his shit together & buy the winger we so desperately need. You have the money! Just don't sell anymore players!

I don't wanna talk the results up any more than i am at the moment coz i know we still have problems. But i have been thinking about new nicknames for Hleb.

Lookin at the picture above i've come up with 'Hlebmometer' coz he seems to raise the temperature of the game there, 'The H(leb)-Bomb' is something he could grow into if he makes these goals a regular habit (also suitable coz he's coming from a former Soviet Republic!)

I'm thrilled at Hleb's two goals so far this season. He also put one past Inter over the summer at the Emirates Cup (I know, it's a friendly, but whatever).

He's really flourishing playing right behind van Persie

I hope for Utd's sake, that they start playing good again soon.

It was at at this part of the season last year where Utd got ahead of Chelsea, and Chelsea never caught up!

Reading are doing alright at the minute, they look as if they will stay up. I hope they do.

Suderland are also doing well...YES. 4 points out of 2 games is good for them at these ealy stages of the league.

I dont know why Mourinho started with Sidwell, the moment Obi Mikel entered Chelsea seemed a different side and Reading were simply no match for them. Mikel did the consolidation work and brilliantly retained possession.
n Scholes strike was awesome, so was Drogba's too.
